Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related work experience
- Valid ServSafe or other approved Food Handler Certification
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related work experience
- Prior cashier or food service experience
- Valid ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler Certification
- High level of integrity and honesty
Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive correct amount tendered and provide correct change
- Enact gift cards requested by guests
- Maintain up to date knowledge of restaurant menu and prices
- Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- Make corrections to guest orders efficiently
- Detect and respond to counterfeit money situations
- Verify age before serving alcoholic beverages
- Ensure guest satisfaction through professional service
- Maintain neat and clean uniform and personal hygiene
- Keep work area clean
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Complete in-service training and adhere to attendance and uniform policies
