Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in cashier, waitress/waiter, or retail store sales
- Ability to operate cash register
- Ability to add and subtract accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a 24-hour scheduled shift
- Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically
- Compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Willingness to perform cleaning and stocking duties
Job Qualifications
- Cashier, waitress/waiter, or retail store sales experience for six (6) months
- Knowledge of cash register operation
- Ability to add and subtract accurately and complete cashier's reports
- Ability to demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all encounters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and policies
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Stock all food and supplies daily as assigned to meet the needs of the retail operation
- Act as a liaison for the Nutrition Department and St. Elizabeth Healthcare when serving customers and associates
- Process orders accurately and offer assistance as needed
- Communicate in a professional caring manner when serving customers
- Efficient handling of cash register duties and follow proper accounting and cash handling practices to provide accuracy with all transactions and follows all opening and closing procedures
- Perform cleaning tasks and duties to meet high quality standards that create a welcoming and fresh presentation in the serving and dining areas playing close attention to details
- Compliance with all local, state, federal and medical center regulatory, safety, sanitation and security standards
- Participate in performance improvement (PI) studies
- Assist with data collection and supports action plans
- Performs other duties as assigned
