Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision
- Basic math skills
- Food Handlers Permit if required by store or county
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Have open availability to work all shifts as needed at home store and other stores within district when the need arises

Job Duties
- Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and all others in the work location
- Operate POS (cash register and fuel console) precisely and accurately manage money and other types of payment received for product sold
- Enter all transactions into the register, accept payments and account for all funds, conduct sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Perform service transactions in accordance with company policy including credit card transactions, manufacturer coupon redemption, vendor check-in, alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales, and fast-food sales
- Check identification for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products according to company policy
- Actively participate in all sales promotions and other campaigns
- Practice suggestive selling and build customer relations, be aware of sales goals and performance against those goals
- Review and adhere to all city, county, state, and federal laws affecting store operations
- Maintain a neat personal appearance and wear company uniform and name tag
- Prepare hot food items in accordance with current procedures, brew fresh coffee, maintain condiment bar, monitor fresh food availability
- Ensure store is free of litter and spills, and all equipment is sanitized and in working condition
- Sweep floors, spot mop, clean mop water as needed
- Wipe down fuel delivery area, pumps, and change outside water/trash when needed
- Ensure restrooms are spot checked and restocked
- Perform regular cleaning of counter surfaces, store equipment, trash inside and outside
- Front face cooler and Hydrazone maintenance as well as dust merchandise
- Clean station windows, organize backroom supplies and equipment
- Receive product deliveries from vendors, move, sort, and stack cases using proper lift techniques
- Stock shelves with new merchandise, re-stock merchandise to avoid holes or sparse shelves
- Conduct daily inspections of perishable products for freshness and proper rotation
- Follow company policy on robbery/violence prevention and safety
- Participate in sales building, customer service, and team-building activities
- Act as backup cashier during Barista shifts, conduct transactions quickly and accurately
- Brew fresh coffee every 2 hours, maintain condiment bar and monitor fresh food availability
- Clean drains, sweep and mop entire floor during night shifts
- Deep clean restrooms, machines including hot food warmer, oven, creamer machine, fountain machine, coffee pots
- Prepare for morning rush by ensuring fresh coffee and creamer machine are ready.
