The role of Cashier at Hope Bargain Center is vital to the store's daily operations and its broader community mission. This position reports directly to the Store Manager and works in close collaboration with the Lead Cashier to maintain excellent customer service standards. Candidates should have prior experience using Point of Sale systems and demonstrate strong communication skills paired with a warm, approachable personality. The role requires standing for extended periods and the physical ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds. Furthermore, excellent phone etiquette and the capacity to handle difficult situations calmly and respectfully are essential to succeed in this role.
