We are currently seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member - Cashier to join our team. This part-time position offers a starting pay of $19.00 per hour and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting and enjoy engaging with customers directly. The role is crucial to our operations as it involves welcoming guests, guiding them through our menu, processing orders, and ensuring accuracy in transactions. The Front of House Team Member plays an integral part in creating an unforgettable experience for guests by not only providing excellent customer service but also supporting food preparation and maintaining clean and efficient front-line operations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for greeting new and repeat guests warmly and professionally. Being knowledgeable about all menu items allows you to confidently make meal suggestions and answer any questions guests might have. Attention to detail is essential as you verify every order for accuracy, manage to-go order preparations, handle POS transactions, and carefully follow cash handling procedures to maintain financial integrity. Your mathematical skills will be applied daily when operating the cash register, counting money, and giving correct change. Accountability is critical as you will perform cash register counts at the beginning and end of each shift in partnership with management to prevent shortages or overages. Additionally, this position includes assisting with front-line food preparation, including packaging orders and delivering them to guests at their tables. Ensuring customer satisfaction through quick, efficient service and high-quality products is a top priority. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with team members, especially in a busy restaurant environment. It is expected that you follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures diligently to uphold a safe workplace for both customers and staff. This role not only requires technical skills but also demands a friendly demeanor, adaptability, and a strong commitment to personal care and hygiene standards. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary, reflecting the nature of the restaurant industry. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, fluent in both English and Spanish, and able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
