Cashier

This position is for a Head Cashier at a retail store, where cashiers play a critical role in providing fast, friendly, accurate, and safe customer service. They process checkout and return transactions, monitor and maintain the self-checkout area, seek product knowledge, and follow policies to minimize shrink. The Head Cashier supports and expedites cashier operations, provides customer assistance, and supervises and coaches other front-end associates, including training new cashiers.
