Job Description
Loomis is a leading provider of armored transportation and cash management services with a vast network of nearly 200 branches, cash management centers, and cash inventory vaults across the United States. The company specializes in ensuring the secure and efficient movement of cash throughout financial institutions and retail businesses, offering comprehensive solutions that help maintain cash flow and security for their clients. Loomis prides itself on the career growth opportunities it provides to its employees, with many current managers, vice presidents, and corporate executives having started their careers within the company as driver/guards and tellers. This commitment to employee development, combined with a dedication to job satisfaction, makes Loomis a desirable and rewarding place to work. The company fosters a challenging yet supportive work environment filled with opportunities for those who are willing to learn and have the drive to succeed. Employees benefit not only from a competitive salary that reflects their skill set and experience but also from a wide range of benefits designed to support their overall well-being and professional growth.
The role being offered is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing daily Cash Management Services (CMS) operations. This includes tasks such as deposit verification, change order preparation, currency and coin inventory management, balancing accounts, and conducting audit functions—all critical to maintaining the accuracy and security of cash transactions. The supervisor plays a key role in managing staff performance, personnel actions, and ensuring that all operations adhere strictly to company policies, industry standards, audit requirements, and compliance regulations. Supervisory duties include not only overseeing the workflow and staff but also implementing and recommending policy adjustments to enhance accountability and security within the department.
This position requires a proactive individual who can act as a liaison between Loomis and key external partners including the Federal Reserve Bank, financial institutions, and commercial customers to address and resolve any issues that arise. The supervisor must be vigilant about employee and asset safety, maintaining high standards through ongoing training and monitoring. Further responsibilities include budget management, specifically by monitoring and controlling overtime and workflow schedules to align with budgetary guidelines. Flexibility is essential, as additional responsibilities may be delegated by the Branch Manager and CMS Manager based on operational needs. The role also occasionally involves travel to Company, District, and Customer meetings and events, requiring the ability to be adaptable and responsive to the dynamic requirements of the position.
Ideal candidates will typically have a college degree and a minimum of three years’ experience managing a cash vault, preferably within Loomis systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory, as the role involves frequent interaction with team members and external stakeholders. Leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity is also crucial to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this role. Loomis offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health and dental insurance, vision coverage, life insurance options, flexible spending accounts, and access to industry-leading training and development programs. The company is committed to providing a diverse, inclusive, and drug-free workplace. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, regardless of their race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, or disability.
