This immediate job opportunity is for a Cash Apps Clerk at a reputable and rapidly growing company based in Jessup. The Cash Apps Clerk plays a central role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of cash application processes within the company. This role primarily involves managing cash deposits, handling driver and mail activities, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support financial and operational transparency. Key responsibilities include checking in drivers, preparing daily deposits, processing driver bags, depositing checks, and balancing the end of day accounts. The clerk will also open and scan checks received through mail, scan delivery invoices and pickups into the OnBase system, and complete all necessary paperwork, such as cash sheets, deposit summaries, audit or discrepancy reports, and purchase-related documentation.

Additionally, this role requires interaction with various stakeholders including drivers, KAR, customers, and sales teams to provide timely responses to inquiries regarding terms, pricing, and credit availability. The Cash Apps Clerk is expected to work collaboratively with internal team members and external customers to obtain and share necessary information efficiently. This position demands a high level of accuracy, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities to manage the critical flow of financial data and support customer service excellence.

Overall, this position is ideal for an individual with prior administrative experience who is detail-oriented and proficient with MS Office. The company prefers candidates with a bachelor’s degree and familiarity with accounting software but emphasizes practical skills and communication as vital for success.
