The role of Server at Caesars Entertainment, specifically within the Casa Di Amici steakhouse, is a vital part of the food and beverage service team. This position involves delivering and setting up food and beverage services, assisting in the preparation of service supplies, and ensuring all orders are reviewed for presentation and completeness before delivery. Servers function as the frontline ambassadors of hospitality, responsible for maintaining a clean and professional work environment while providing courteous and respectful service to guests. This role demands the ability to multitask efficiently in a high-paced, diverse environment, coordinating delivery schedules and managing guest interactions with a genuine and approachable demeanor. Servers also provide support and direction to bus persons and aid in special events, requiring strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of room service standards. The position requires physical stamina, including handling trays weighing from 20 to 35 pounds and continuous movement throughout the restaurant during shifts.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Two years of food service experience
  • Must be able to obtain Responsible Vendor Certification and Bossier ABO Card
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle a 27-inch oval food server’s tray, ranging in weight from 20 to 35 pounds
  • Ability to move throughout the restaurant continuously during their shift
  • Ability to push and/or pull 40 to 50 pounds on wheels
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner
  • Must present a professional and pleasant appearance
  • Ability to familiarize with wine and spirits menu, service, and knowledge
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, push, and pull when necessary
  • Must be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well-organized and attentive to details
  • Must fully understand standards of position as management may direct
  • Must be able to tolerate hot temperatures in the kitchen areas
  • Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver in and around throughout the Steakhouse
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensures that all food items requested and necessary supplies are obtained and delivered in a timely manner
  • Coordinates the delivery schedules of amenities, and food and beverage orders to best accommodate the guests
  • Provides direction and support to bus persons
  • Facilitates the immediate accommodation of guest requests
  • Follows all applicable safety precautions applicable to food service areas
  • Treats guests with courtesy and respect
  • Ensures that all items are presented in accordance with department guidelines
  • Clocks guests check in and out
  • Closes guest checks upon delivery
  • Serve beverages to guests upon delivery
  • Performs side work to include, but not limited to filling sugar bowls, salt/pepper shakers, folding napkins, and general organization of storage areas
  • Complete service preparation functions as required
  • Ability to maintain a clean work environment
  • Knowledgeable with upcoming events and related hospitality functions, bars and deliveries
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a diverse environment
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Knowledge of room service standards
  • Assists with special events as needed
