The current opportunity at St. Regis Pelican Hill is for a Part-Time Golf Cart Attendant. This role is non-management, hourly paid at $16.90 per hour and eligible for tips, offering flexible scheduling and entry-level accessibility. The Golf Cart Attendant plays a vital part in enhancing the golf experience for guests by managing golf carts and equipment with care, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety on the golf course. Responsibilities include transporting golf bags and clubs, assisting guests with directions and equipment, maintaining golf carts, and supporting general golf course operations.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Transport golf clubs to and from guest vehicles and golf shuttles
  • Collect and unload guests' golf bags at bag drop
  • Provide directions to golfers for golf-related areas
  • Assist golfers with carts and equipment
  • Distribute scorecards and pencils to golfers
  • Remove golf carts from storage and tee areas
  • Set aside rental clubs for guest use, clean and store after use
  • Store, clean, label, and organize guests' clubs in bag storage
  • Clean, detail, and restock golf carts after each use
  • Document any damages or deficiencies of golf carts for mechanic review
  • Maintain cleanliness of golf-related areas
  • Maintain communication with golf shops to ensure efficient course operations and guest satisfaction
  • Organize, restock, or disassemble practice stations
  • Collect and clean balls used in practice facilities
  • Ensure security of all stored golf equipment
  • Report any significant issues to manager or supervisor
