Job Description

Team JCK LLC and KBR Group LLC are proud independent franchisees of Carl Karcher Enterprises, operating a chain of Carl's Jr. restaurants stretching from Medford, Oregon, to Longview, Washington. As a family-owned business, they are deeply committed to fostering a vibrant work culture that values teamwork, success, and personal growth. Being more than just a place to work, this company considers its team members as part of a close-knit family where every member plays an integral role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward. The company is passionate about creating opportunities for career advancement by providing first-class training and support to all its employees, helping them acquire vital skills for both present responsibilities and future endeavors. Their mission centers on not only serving delicious meals but also nurturing a supportive environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and equipped to thrive in the fast-paced restaurant industry.

The role available is restaurant management, a critical position responsible for the operational excellence of each Carl’s Jr. location under this franchise. Managers are charged with effectively utilizing labor resources to meet budget goals while upholding the highest standards of food quality and service. They constantly analyze business performance data, monitor controllable costs, and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability and efficiency. Managers must ensure that both business and personnel practices comply with state and federal laws and remain aligned with Carl’s Jr. policies and procedures. A significant part of this role involves supervising and mentoring employees consistently, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and fostering an environment encouraging professional growth and teamwork. Management personnel make key employment decisions including hiring, discipline, advancement, termination, and compensation to build strong teams geared toward success. Clear communication of business and team goals is vital, alongside motivating employees to meet objectives and recognizing those who contribute positively.

This management role is more than operational oversight—it’s about building a home for the team. The management team forms the heart and soul of each franchise location, infusing dedication and spirit into every aspect of the operation. Candidates must show the ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation, strong leadership, excellent communication, and customer service skills, as well as being skilled team builders. Physical requirements include being able to stand, bend, stoop for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. The role requires the ability to work up to 47 hours per week depending on business needs, and candidates must be at least 18 years of age with or able to obtain a food handler’s permit within 30 days.

Starting wages reflect the responsibility and impact of the management roles: General Managers can expect a salary ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 annually, while Assistant Managers earn between $56,000 and $64,000. Beyond competitive pay, Team JCK LLC and KBR Group LLC emphasize employee welfare with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; generous paid time off up to 30 days per year; a 401(k) plan with employer contributions; paid life insurance and disability coverage; flexible spending accounts; and employee assistance programs. Additional perks such as food discounts while off work, free meals during shifts, and quarterly performance bonuses reinforce their commitment to making the workplace rewarding and supportive. This opportunity is ideal for leaders who aspire to develop their careers within a respected, family-oriented franchise that advocates equal opportunity and values each employee’s contributions towards shared success.
