Job Description

Team JCK LLC and KBR Group LLC are independent franchisees of Carl Karcher Enterprises, proudly operating a chain of Carl's Jr restaurants spanning locations from Medford, Oregon to Longview, Washington. Established as family-owned businesses, these franchisees are dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where employees are viewed as part of a family, not just workers. Carl's Jr, a well-known name in the quick-service restaurant industry, is committed to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service with a strong emphasis on teamwork and community values. These franchisees embody these principles by offering opportunities for personal and professional growth within their restaurants, making them more than just places to work but places where careers can flourish and individuals can feel a true sense of belonging.

The roles available within these establishments, particularly in restaurant management, come with significant responsibilities and rewards. The management team is regarded as the heartbeat of each location, playing a pivotal role in driving the success of their teams and ensuring a top-notch customer experience every day. Restaurant managers are entrusted with the crucial task of effectively managing labor to meet budget targets without compromising on quality standards. They are responsible for analyzing business performance, keeping controllable costs in check, and implementing corrective measures when needed. Moreover, managers must ensure that all business and personnel practices comply with relevant state and federal laws and are consistent with Carl's Jr's established policies and procedures.

In addition to operational oversight, managers are expected to be hands-on leaders who regularly supervise and mentor their employees. This includes training new hires, coaching team members to improve their performance, and providing ongoing feedback that motivates staff toward excellence. Managers make critical employment decisions related to hiring, discipline, promotions, terminations, and compensation, creating a workplace culture that values accountability and growth. Communication is also key in this role as managers align their teams with clear business goals and expectations, rewarding employees who contribute positively to the company’s success.

Working as a manager at these Carl's Jr franchise locations is not just about managing a restaurant; it’s about fostering a place where everyone can call home. The management team’s dedication and spirit permeate throughout the restaurant, impacting every team member and customer interaction. Candidates should be self-starters with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer service. Physical stamina is also necessary, given the demands of standing, bending, stooping for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

This opportunity offers a competitive starting wage, ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 annually for general managers and $56,000 to $64,000 for assistant managers. Additionally, the franchisee is committed to supporting employees with comprehensive benefits and first-class training programs designed to equip staff with the skills they need to succeed and progress in their careers. The environment promotes equal opportunity and compliance with federal employment laws, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace for everyone.
