Job Description

Team JCK LLC. and KBR Group LLC. are proud independent franchisees of Carl Karcher Enterprises, operating various Carl's Jr. locations spanning from Medford, Oregon, to Longview, Washington. As a family-owned business, they emphasize a tight-knit environment where teamwork thrives, and employees are treated more like family than just staff. The company is deeply committed to creating opportunities for success, not only in business operations but for its team members to grow, advance, and develop their skills in a supportive atmosphere. Their focus on people, excellent customer service, and community involvement have helped them stand out in the competitive restaurant industry. The core of their success lies in their management team, who serve as the heart and soul of each location, driving both employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

The role of restaurant manager at Carl's Jr. is a critical position that requires an individual capable of multitasking, leading, and managing a dynamic fast-food environment. These positions are offered on a full-time basis, with salary packages that start at $63,000 annually for general managers, and $54,000 for assistant managers. The responsibilities are multi-faceted, encompassing not only the oversight of day-to-day restaurant operations but also the mentoring and coaching of staff to meet service and operational standards.

Management is responsible for effective labor utilization to stay within budgetary guidelines while maintaining high-quality standards across all operational areas. They need to continuously analyze business performance metrics and controllable costs, initiating corrective actions to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Moreover, managers ensure all personnel practices comply with federal and state laws and adhere to the policies and guidelines set forth by Carl's Jr.

Supervising and training team members is a foundational component of the job. Managers act as mentors, providing constructive feedback, both positive and corrective, to encourage employee growth, motivation, and goal achievement. These efforts help maintain a positive work culture where employees feel valued and recognized for their contributions. Managers also play a role in human resources' functions by making decisions related to hiring, discipline, promotions, terminations, and compensation.

Candidates who join the management team can expect a rewarding work environment where the focus is on building strong teams that drive the business forward. The company puts a significant emphasis on leadership skills, customer service, and communication to ensure everyone is aligned with the company's goals. Additionally, they offer first-class training programs designed to equip managers with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed and grow within their careers. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently while being an integral part of a team, who are self-starters, and possess the ability to handle the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Team JCK LLC. and KBR Group LLC. offer a comprehensive benefits package that underscores their commitment to employee well-being. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off that can amount to up to 30 days annually, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, paid life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Employees also benefit from an employee assistance program starting from day one, food discounts while off duty, a free meal with every shift worked, and quarterly performance bonuses. This extensive suite of benefits reflects the company's care for its team and dedication to creating a workplace family where all members are supported and valued.
