Carhop/ Skating Carhop (server)

This position is for a Carhop, reporting directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD). As a Carhop, the employee will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by ensuring each product meets high standards before it reaches the guest. The job involves balancing trays that can weigh up to 25 pounds and bringing orders directly to customers in a courteous, timely manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a genuine desire to provide superior customer service.

In addition to basic product delivery, the Carhop is responsible for clearing trays and trash from guests' vehicles and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and a pleasant ambiance. The position requires regular cleaning and sanitation duties including tasks such as mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, and sanitizing food preparation surfaces. Employees must comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure not only a safe work environment but also consistent quality in all aspects of service.

The role is nonexempt and involves irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating the need for scheduling flexibility. There is a physical aspect to this job, requiring the ability to stand, bend, reach, move, stoop, stretch, lift heavy items up to 50 pounds, and in some cases, perform duties on roller skates if fulfilling the responsibilities of a Skating Carhop.
