The role of the Full-Time Day Shift Delivery Driver at LDF is integral to maintaining the company’s high standards of customer service and operational excellence. Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- 3-6 months commercial driving experience preferred
- prior route sales or delivery experience preferred
- valid driver's license
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- interpersonal skills for professional customer relations
- knowledge of state alcohol laws
- ability to understand handheld devices
- physical capability to lift and move heavy products
- adherence to safety and company policies
- drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- Completion of company training program
- possess in-depth knowledge of company products, policies, procedures, and operations
- knowledge of state laws regarding alcohol sales
- good grooming and hygiene consistent with customer relations
- flexible and adaptable to changing routines
- high school degree or equivalent
- 3-6 months of commercial driving experience preferred
- prior route sales or delivery experience preferred

- basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties
- Adheres to all check-in/check-out policies and procedures
- assumes full responsibility for all products assigned for delivery including safeguards against theft, abuse, or loss
- signs for load sheets and verifies delivery equipment
- reviews stop sheets and reports missing accounts
- drives truck to deliver ordered products to assigned accounts
- honors all authorized customer requests
- stocks and rotates products on shelves and back stock
- sets up promotional displays and updates point-of-sale materials
- collects empty kegs and out-of-date products
- picks up damaged product
- collects payments via checks or money orders and completes invoicing
- completes daily check-in procedures and reconciliations
- completes daily deposits and verifies computer totals
- reports market trends and competitive activities
- ensures safety procedures including truck dock wheel chalking
- performs daily equipment checks and reports maintenance issues
- operates company vehicle following safety and DOT regulations
- performs other duties as assigned by Distribution Manager
