This role is ideal for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers who are seeking part-time work providing direct personal care and assistance to a 70-year-old male client who uses a wheelchair and requires a Hoyer lift for mobility. The position involves working Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 8 pm to 6 am, providing meaningful and personalized care in the client’s home. The caregiver will assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. They will also engage the client in cognitive stimulation activities and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, promoting the client’s dignity and quality of life. Physical assistance will include lifting and transferring the client as needed, requiring the ability to handle up to 50 pounds safely. Additional duties include monitoring the client’s condition, communicating effectively with family and healthcare professionals, and providing transportation to appointments when necessary.
