The role of Caregiver / Home Health Aide at Home Instead involves providing essential non-medical care to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This position offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time and part-time shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours, accommodating various lifestyle needs. Employees will be compensated between $16.00 and $19.00 per hour, with additional bonuses such as holiday pay at 1.5x or double time, and a $750 employee referral bonus, making it a rewarding opportunity financially as well as personally. Caregivers will work in various communities across Barberton, Bath Township, Brunswick, Cuyahoga Falls, Copley, Fairlawn, Green, Hudson, Lodi, Northfield, Norton, Richfield, Rittman, Stow, Uniontown, and Wadsworth, with a requirement to travel within a 10-mile radius of their home.
This position does not require prior experience as paid orientation and ongoing training are provided, supporting new caregivers as they develop their skills. Responsibilities include assisting seniors with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring safety and comfort. The role also involves building trusting relationships that contribute significantly to the emotional and physical well-being of clients. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving or home health aide experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties
- Assist seniors with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor client health and report any changes to the supervisory staff
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Transport clients to appointments and errands within a designated area
- Follow care plans and company policies to ensure high-quality service delivery
