We are searching for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our nursing team in the role of Caregiver/Resident Assistant. This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily living needs of the residents, helping them maintain dignity and comfort. As a Resident Assistant, you will assist with personal care tasks such as grooming, hygiene, meals, social interaction, housekeeping, and laundering. The role requires monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of residents and responding appropriately to their needs. Regular documentation of completed tasks including shift reports and resident records is essential, as is confidential communication with other staff members and the Health Care Director about any urgent concerns. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while working in a warm, team-oriented environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a caregiving or resident assistant role preferred
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Passing a drug screening
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for resident care
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Assisting with the daily care of the residents including personal care grooming hygiene housekeeping laundering social interactions and meals
- Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
- Documenting completed tasks such as daily shift report resident records and negotiated service agreement
- Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff such as urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
- Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
