Job Description

This role is specifically for a QLS/Caregiver position within the Clarendale community. The Caregiver is responsible for various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to maintaining the personal needs and comfort of the residents. The role includes assisting residents with high-quality personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, and monitoring vital signs including height and weight checks as per policy. Employees are offered flexible 12-hour shifts, either days or nights, with options for full-time days/nights and PRN positions, requiring availability every other weekend as well as alternating holidays. The hourly salary starts from $18.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
  • ability to assist with personal care tasks
  • availability to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to pass a post-offer background check and provide references
  • physical ability to perform caregiving duties

  • willingness to adhere to community policies and hospitality standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
  • experience in caregiving or hospitality preferred
  • ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • current certification as a nursing assistant (cna) is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • assist all residents with a high quality of personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy
  • make all beds as needed, complete resident's laundry as assigned, assist residents with meal time
  • provide activities as planned or directed
  • document resident status per policy
  • respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner
  • provide emergency care within scope of practice
  • utilize special program components offered by the community
  • be familiar with and follow community policies
