Job Duties
- Provide services to residents according to their service plan
- assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility
- monitor health, safety, and well-being of residents
- document changes in residents’ status and personal needs
- maintain accurate records of chargeable services and submit on time
- respond to resident emergencies and provide first aid
- launder residents’ clothing and linens
- assist with minor housekeeping
- serve meals and bus tables
- report on-the-job injuries promptly
- encourage socialization and promote activities
- chaperone outside activities
- maintain a safe, home-like environment
- practice safety with equipment and chemicals
- maintain confidentiality of resident and personnel information
- attend staff meetings and in-services
- perform other duties as assigned
