Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- at least one year experience providing care services for seniors
- knowledge of basic first aid
- ability to work in a team environment
- understanding of state and federal assisted living regulations
- compliant with HIPAA standards
- capable of safe food handling
- strong organizational skills
- empathetic and nurturing attitude
Job Qualifications

- familiarity with nursing standards of practice for older adults

- interest in working with older adults
- previous experience in senior living preferred
Job Duties
- Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan
- assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility
- monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents
- document information pertaining to changes in residents' functional status, personal needs, and appointments
- maintain accurate records of chargeable services and submit to supervisor monthly
- respond to resident emergencies and provide first-aid assistance
- launder residents' clothing, linens, and towels
- assist with minor housekeeping of residents' apartments
- serve meals and bus tables during mealtimes
- encourage socialization among residents and promote activities
- chaperone activities outside the facility when requested
- maintain a safe, home-like, and pleasant environment
- practice safety around equipment, chemicals, tools, and utensils
- maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- attend staff meetings and in-services
- perform other duties as assigned
