With a team-oriented approach, Arden Courts blends clinical expertise with everyday assistance, ensuring that each resident's individual needs are met with respect and professionalism.

The Caregiver role at Arden Courts is pivotal in maintaining the comfort and safety of residents. This position involves assisting residents with various activities of daily living, including personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Caregivers also support residents through food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, orientation, and providing necessary information. Being a core member of the Health & Wellness Team, caregivers play an integral role in upholding industry-leading standards of care. The role is dynamic and requires a compassionate, patient, and adaptable individual who values teamwork and has a passion for improving the lives of elderly individuals.

This position is a PRN (as needed) role offering amazing benefits, such as no mandatory shift coverage extension, daily access to earnings via ZayZoon, provision of uniforms, employee discounts, organized appreciation events, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), holiday worked premium pay, among others. A noteworthy component of this employment is the mandatory clearance through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, which ensures the safety and security of all residents by maintaining rigorous screening standards.

Successful candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate basic reading, writing, and effective communication skills in English. Experience or knowledge in working with elderly populations, especially those with dementia, is preferred. State-required certification is obligatory for employment. Physical demands of the caregiving role include the ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods and the capability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Additionally, caregivers must have full use of hands, arms, and legs to perform duties such as washing, dressing, cleaning, and operating equipment safely and efficiently.

They ensure that all qualified applicants receive consideration without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, military status, or any other protected category.
