Job Description
Auberge is a leading provider in senior living and healthcare services, committed to enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents through compassionate and personalized care. The company is dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment where residents feel valued, safe, and cared for as if they were family. Auberge prides itself on its industry-leading standards of care and a professional, respectful workplace culture that supports both its residents and employees.
The position of Caregiver at Auberge is a vital role within the Health & Wellness Team. Caregivers assist residents in all aspects of their daily life, ensuring they receive comprehensive and compassionate support tailored to their individual needs. This role extends beyond basic assistance; it encompasses personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as food service, housekeeping, and laundry tasks. Caregivers play a critical role in managing behavior, facilitating socialization and recreational activities, and providing orientation and information to residents. The role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to maintaining the dignity and independence of each resident.
This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy dynamic and meaningful work in a healthcare or residential setting, especially those with experience working with the elderly or individuals with dementia. Auberge offers a flexible and supportive working environment with no mandatory stay-over requirements for shift coverage, offering PRN staff numerous benefits to ensure their well-being and job satisfaction. Employees enjoy daily access to pay through ZayZoon, uniforms, exclusive employee discounts, and participation in employee appreciation events. Additionally, this role qualifies for employee assistance programs (EAP), holiday worked premium pay, and other incentive programs designed to recognize dedication and service.
Applicants must meet specific state certification requirements and demonstrate the physical ability to meet the job's demands, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, standing and walking for extended periods, and operating various equipment. Auberge is committed to equal opportunity employment and provides accommodations as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA). The company fosters inclusivity and diversity, ensuring all qualified applicants are considered fairly regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other legally protected categories.
