With a strong emphasis on resident-centered care, this organization brings together a skilled and dedicated team to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of its community members.

As a Caregiver at Arden Courts, you play a crucial role in assisting residents with all facets of their daily living activities. Your responsibilities will include aiding with personal care routines, food service, housekeeping, and laundry duties, ensuring the familiarity and comfort of the residents' living environment. Beyond the physical aspects of care, you will engage in behavior management, socialization efforts, activity coordination, and orientation tasks that help residents maintain their cognitive functions and emotional health. This position is an integral part of the Health & Wellness Team, which is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of resident care rooted in dignity and respect.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of elderly individuals, especially those battling dementia or other age-related challenges. Arden Courts offers an enriching work atmosphere supported by amazing benefits that include daily access to pay through the ZayZoon program, provision of uniforms, employee discounts, and regular employee appreciation events. PRN staff enjoy additional benefits such as holiday worked premium pay. The caregiver position at Arden Courts supports a holistic approach to elder care, encompassing both physical needs and emotional support, thus ensuring an overall improvement in the residents' well-being and satisfaction.

This caregiving role requires a blend of physical stamina and empathetic communication skills. Candidates must be prepared to meet the physical demands of the job, which include standing, walking, bending, and squatting for prolonged periods; pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted; and the full use of hands, arms, and legs for various personal care-related tasks. You should also be capable of reading thermometers, charts, and operating household and medical equipment that play a critical role in daily care management. Arden Courts values diversity and inclusion, actively encourages applications from qualified individuals regardless of race, gender, age, or disability status, and offers accommodations to applicants with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA).
