Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification required according to state regulations
- Experience working with elderly individuals
- Knowledge of dementia care preferred
- Ability to stand walk bend and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to push pull lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Full use of hands arms and legs
- Basic reading writing and verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification according to state regulations
- Knowledge and experience working with elderly people
- Previous dementia care experience preferred
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Job Duties
- Assist residents with personal care including bathing and dressing
- Provide food service and help with meal times
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Manage resident behavior and support socialization
- Facilitate resident participation in activities
- Provide orientation and meet information needs
- Work as part of the Health and Wellness Team to ensure resident care
