The available position of Arizona Certified Caregiver (Part-Time, Weekends Only) at Clarendale of Chandler offers an exciting opportunity for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors through attentive and skilled caregiving. The role is part-time with a salary range of $18.50 to $19.50 per hour and requires availability during weekends and holidays with variable shifts. As a Certified Caregiver at Clarendale, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive personal care that includes assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, monitoring vital signs, and recording residents' height and weight, ensuring each task is performed according to established policies. You will also assist residents during mealtimes by cutting food and encouraging proper nutrition intake, enhancing their dining experience.
This position requires strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, their families, department heads, and the Director of Resident Services. You will also be tasked with documenting and completing shift assignments accurately, reporting any incomplete tasks to supervising nursing staff. Responding promptly to call lights and emergencies is critical, contributing to the safety and well-being of residents. Moreover, participating in planned or directed activities allows you to engage residents in community life and support their emotional and social well-being.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Current Arizona caregiving certification
- 1-2 years of caregiver experience in senior living care preferred
- Able to obtain or maintain CPR/First Aid certification
- Able to obtain or maintain Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Able to obtain or maintain Food Handler's Card
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current certification by the state of Arizona for caregiving
- 1-2 years of experience in senior living care settings preferred
- Able to obtain or have CPR/First Aid certification

Job Duties
