Job Description

Arden Courts is a distinguished healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care services primarily to elderly residents, including those affected by dementia. Recognized for setting industry standards in resident care, Arden Courts fosters a compassionate and supportive environment where the well-being of every individual is prioritized. As a part of this reputable organization, caregivers are integral members of the Health and Wellness Team, entrusted with the responsibility to enhance the quality of life for residents through a variety of care aspects. Arden Courts stands out as an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating a drug-free workplace that values diversity and inclusivity across all facets of employment. The facility encourages applications from qualified individuals regardless of race, religion, gender identity, or other protected characteristics, ensuring a fair and respectful hiring process.

The role of a Caregiver at Arden Courts is both rewarding and challenging. Caregivers assist residents in numerous facets of daily living, offering personalized support that encompasses personal care routines such as bathing and dressing, food service, housekeeping, and laundry duties. Beyond these essential tasks, caregivers are also crucial in managing resident behavior, promoting socialization, and facilitating engaging activities that foster mental and emotional well-being. Orientation and providing relevant information to residents round out the comprehensive services provided by caregivers, ensuring that each resident enjoys dignity, respect, and a connection to the community.

This position requires a compassionate individual who is physically capable of performing duties that may involve standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods. Caregivers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance, demonstrating physical stamina and strength. Additionally, the role demands proficiency in basic reading and writing skills, as well as effective communication in English to interact clearly with residents and team members. Prior experience working with elderly populations, especially those suffering from dementia, is preferred, along with appropriate certification as mandated by state regulations.

Arden Courts offers part-time employees attractive benefits that underscore its commitment to employee welfare. These benefits include daily access to earned wages through ZayZoon, uniform provisions, exclusive employee discounts, and special appreciation events that celebrate staff contributions. The employment package also features an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support staff wellness, paid time off to promote work-life balance, premium pay for holidays worked, and other valuable perks. These comprehensive benefits create not only a supportive work environment but also a motivating atmosphere where caregivers can thrive professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.
