Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- certification required according to state regulations
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- ability to stand walk bend and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- full use of hands arms and legs
- ability to operate clothes washers dryers and kitchen appliances
- ability to read thermometers charts and testing equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English clearly
- certification according to state regulations
- knowledge and experience in elder care
- previous dementia care experience preferred
Job Duties
- assist residents with personal care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- provide food service support ensuring proper nutrition and meal assistance
- perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain clean and safe living environments
- implement behavior management techniques to support resident emotional and cognitive needs
- facilitate socialization and engagement activities that promote mental and physical well-being
- assist with resident orientation and provide information to address daily needs
- collaborate with health and wellness team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
