The Caregiver role at Arden Courts is vital in supporting residents with their day-to-day living activities, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and attention. Caregivers assist residents with personal hygiene, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavioral management, socialization, and participation in planned activities. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading and writing skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Prior experience in elder care, especially with dementia patients, is preferred along with certification as required by state regulations.

Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for extended periods, push and pull objects, lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted, and use hands and arms for caregiving tasks. The caregiver must also be able to read and operate various medical and household equipment.
