The role of a Caregiver at Arden Courts is integral to the daily well-being and quality of life of our residents. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with all aspects of their daily living needs. This includes providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, assisting with food service and meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness through housekeeping and laundry duties, and supporting behavior management and socialization activities. Caregivers at Arden Courts play an essential role in facilitating orientation and fulfilling the information needs of residents, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and engaged in their community. This position is part of the Health & Wellness Team, where each team member contributes to providing industry-leading resident care rooted in compassion and respect.

Caregivers at Arden Courts must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate basic reading, writing, and communication skills in English to ensure clear interaction with residents and staff. Relevant experience in working with elderly individuals, especially those with dementia, is preferred, alongside required certification as mandated by state regulations. Physical demands for the role include the ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, the capability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and full use of hands, arms, and legs to perform caregiving duties safely and effectively. The ability to read and operate various equipment like thermometers, charts, washers, dryers, and kitchen appliances is also necessary.
