This caregiver role at Arden Courts is instrumental in supporting the daily lives of residents through a variety of essential services. The position includes assisting with personal care routines, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization activities, and providing orientation and information resources. Caregivers serve as vital members of the Health and Wellness Team, working collaboratively to promote resident well-being and ensure an exceptional care experience.
The employment type offered is part-time with an attractive $1,250 sign-on bonus to welcome new team members. Ideal candidates are those with a high school diploma or equivalent and possess excellent basic reading, writing, and communication skills in English. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, squatting for extended periods, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and using hands and limbs to assist residents with washing, bathing, dressing, cleaning, and managing household appliances.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- certification required according to state regulations
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- previous dementia experience preferred
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- full use of hands, arms, and legs for tasks such as washing, bathing, dressing, writing, and cleaning
- ability to read thermometers, charts and operate testing equipment
- ability to operate clothes washers, dryers, and kitchen appliances
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge and experience working with elderly populations
- previous dementia care experience preferred
- certification as required by state regulations
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Duties
- assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- provide food service including meal preparation and feeding assistance
- perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean environment
- support behavior management and socialization activities to engage residents
- facilitate orientation and provide information to residents and families
- collaborate with the Health and Wellness Team to ensure quality care
- monitor resident health and report any changes
