Arden Courts prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity. With a strong focus on integrity, respect, and continuous improvement, Arden Courts offers comprehensive training and support to empower its employees. The community is dedicated to providing residents with dignity and independence through purposeful activities and tailored care plans that address individual needs with empathy and professionalism.
As a Caregiver at Arden Courts, you will play an essential role in supporting the daily lives of our residents. This position entails assisting with personal care tasks, managing food service needs, housekeeping duties, and laundry. You will also contribute to behavior management, social engagement, and facilitating orientation and information services as part of an integrated Health & Wellness Team. This role requires an active New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification. We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus to welcome qualified caregivers. The role is designed to provide meaningful interaction with elderly residents, emphasizing respect and patience, often with individuals who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Our caregivers are supported with excellent benefits such as no mandate to stay over for shift coverage, daily access to pay through ZayZoon, uniforms, employee discounts, employee appreciation events, employee assistance programs (EAP), paid time off, and holiday premium pay for part-time staff. This position demands physical stamina, as caregivers must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat for extended periods, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds. The ability to operate common household appliances and read medical instruments is also necessary. Arden Courts fosters a positive work culture that values teamwork, continuing education, and respect for all employees and residents alike.
