Job Description
Arden Courts is a leading provider of memory care services, dedicated to offering compassionate and specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Known for its industry-leading resident care, Arden Courts combines a warm, community-focused environment with professional health and wellness teams to ensure every resident's unique needs are met with dignity and respect. As part of their commitment to excellence, Arden Courts prioritizes a holistic approach that supports personal care, socialization, and overall wellbeing for the elderly. Their facilities are designed to provide comfort, safety, and a sense of belonging, which has earned them a trusted reputation in the elder care industry.
As a Caregiver at Arden Courts, your role is vital to the daily wellbeing and quality of life of the residents. You will assist residents in all facets of their daily life, including personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance. Beyond the basics, your responsibilities will extend to food service and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Helping with laundry and managing behavioral challenges are also within your scope of duties, ensuring that every resident feels supported and valued. Socialization and activity facilitation are important parts of this role, empowering residents to engage meaningfully with others and participate in enriching experiences.
You will also provide orientation and information to residents as needed, contributing to their sense of independence and security. Working as part of the Health and Wellness Team, you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver tailored care plans and respond effectively to any changes in residents' health status. Arden Courts emphasizes an empathetic, patient-centered approach, making your caregiving work both deeply rewarding and impactful.
This position offers amazing benefits, including no mandated overtime, which respects work-life balance and supports your wellbeing. Daily access to pay through ZayZoon provides financial flexibility and convenience. The company also supplies uniforms, offers employee discounts, and organizes employee appreciation events that foster a positive and engaging workplace culture. Comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan, company-paid life insurance, and paid time off contribute to overall job satisfaction and security. Holiday worked premium pay and special birthday holidays add a nice personal touch to the compensation package.
Physical demands of the caregiving role require stamina and strength, as you will be standing, walking, bending, and squatting throughout your shifts. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds unassisted, demonstrating physical capability to handle routine caregiving activities. Full use of your hands, arms, and legs is essential for tasks such as washing, dressing, cleaning, and operating equipment like washers, dryers, and kitchen appliances. Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing devices also plays a key part in monitoring resident health.
Arden Courts is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion. Qualified applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. They are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA), providing accommodations to applicants with disabilities to ensure fair access to employment opportunities. This commitment underscores Arden Courts' dedication not only to excellent resident care but also to nurturing a supportive and equitable workplace community.
