As part of a nationwide network, the San Francisco & Marin branch prides itself on delivering professional, compassionate support that enables clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
This company specializes in a range of caregiving services including personal care assistance, health monitoring, and cognitive engagement for clients, ensuring holistic support tailored to the unique needs of each individual. BrightStar Care is an accredited organization recognized by the Joint Commission, which underscores its dedication to maintaining high standards in healthcare service delivery.
The role of Caregiver at BrightStar Care is integral to fulfilling the organization's commitment to quality care. Caregivers are responsible for providing essential hands-on support to clients with developmental disabilities, seniors, or others requiring personal care. This involves assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Caregivers also play a vital role in promoting residents' rights, dignity, and independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others through direct care and support. Caregivers are expected to engage clients in meaningful activities that stimulate cognitive function and improve quality of life. In addition, documenting changes in clients' conditions and effective communication with healthcare professionals and family members are critical responsibilities to ensure coordinated care.
The job offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with a competitive pay range of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. BrightStar Care provides paid orientation, training, and continuous support to help caregivers excel in their roles. The company supports its employees with a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, weekly direct deposit pay, paid mileage reimbursements for travel between client homes, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching. The work environment is supportive, with 24/7 assistance available and mobile time tracking options for convenience and efficiency.
Candidates with at least one year of professional home health caregiving experience are best suited for this opportunity. Personal assistants, CNAs, Home Health Aides, and individuals seeking rewarding work that significantly improves others' lives are encouraged to apply. BrightStar Care values diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer, offering a respectful workplace free from discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, disability, or any other protected classification. This role provides a meaningful career path for caregivers dedicated to delivering excellent personalized care in the community setting.
