The company specializes in non-medical care, delivering companionship, personal care, and assistance with daily activities, ensuring seniors maintain a high quality of life. Operating across various locations, Home Instead is widely recognized for its commitment to client satisfaction and caregiver support, making it a trusted name in senior care.

Home Instead is currently hiring caregivers in San Antonio who are passionate about supporting seniors. This employment opportunity offers an hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $14.50, with weekly pay and direct deposit, making it a dependable source of income for individuals seeking fulfilling and stable work. The company provides 24/7 support from an experienced office team and equips caregivers with industry-leading technology and scheduling tools, enabling them to focus on their caregiving duties effectively. Employees benefit from a $700 caregiver referral program, chances to earn an additional $2 per hour based on eligibility, and paid holidays at 1.5 times the regular rate.

The caregiver role involves providing compassionate companionship and assistance with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with clients by offering consistent and reliable support, fostering a warm and trusting environment. Home Instead encourages professional growth by offering paid training and opportunities for continuous learning to enhance skills and career development.

This position requires caregivers to have a minimum of six months of paid professional caregiving experience or hold certifications such as CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN. Applicants must have two professional references, basic English proficiency, and must complete any necessary compliance, licensing, or registration requirements. A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle are strongly encouraged as caregivers often travel between client visits. Being bilingual or multilingual is welcomed, as it helps in communicating with diverse clients.

Joining Home Instead means becoming part of a community that values and supports caregivers. The company not only offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options for eligible employees, but also provides 401k matching, sick leave accrual, mileage reimbursement for travel, and comprehensive employee support through their mobile app. The app helps caregivers stay connected with their schedules, client needs, and earnings, streamlining their duties and enhancing overall job satisfaction.
