Job Description
Home Instead is a respected home care service provider dedicated to helping seniors live safely and independently in their own homes. Serving Davidson, Guilford, and Alamance counties, Home Instead is part of a national network that specializes in delivering compassionate and personalized care to the elderly. The company prides itself on creating supportive environments not only for its clients but also for its caregivers, offering flexible work schedules, steady and competitive pay, and comprehensive support. Their mission is centered around enhancing the quality of life for seniors by providing services that help maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence while nurturing strong, trusting relationships between caregivers and clients.
The Home Caregiver role at Home Instead is an invaluable position where individuals contribute meaningful support to seniors in need of assistance with daily activities. This is a paid position offering an hourly wage of $13.00 to $14.00, dependent on experience and qualifications. Employees benefit from weekly pay, direct deposit, and additional financial incentives such as a generous $700 referral bonus through the caregiver program. Additionally, those employed can take advantage of paid training and holidays compensated at 1.5 times the regular rate, as well as access to medical, dental, and vision benefits based on eligibility. A 401(k) retirement plan with company matching and mileage reimbursement for travel related to visits are also provided.
This role is ideal for compassionate, reliable individuals who wish to make a lasting impact on the lives of seniors by providing companionship, assistance with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care duties such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and supporting restroom use. Home Instead supports its caregivers with 24/7 assistance, easy-to-use mobile scheduling tools to manage shifts, and offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible hours. The company focuses on consistent client assignments when possible, allowing caregivers to build meaningful, long-term relationships. To qualify for this role, caregivers need to have at least six months of paid non-family caregiving experience or hold qualifications such as CNA, HHA, LPN/LVN, or RN credentials. Reliable transportation and basic English skills are also required. This position offers the opportunity for fast placement for those who qualify, making it a great chance to start a rewarding career or supplement existing income with impactful work that truly matters.
