Job Description
Home Instead is a well-established and compassionate provider of in-home caregiving services with a strong presence in central and north central Indiana as well as Western Michigan. Founded in 1996 by Chris and Cheri Irons, it was among the first Home Instead franchises in the Midwest, driven by a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals needing in-home care. The company’s mission is deeply rooted in personal experience and empathy, reflecting the founders’ compassion for people who require assistance with daily living activities. Over the years, Home Instead has expanded to four offices with a team of dedicated professionals committed to enhancing the quality of life for their clients by helping them remain comfortably in their own homes. The business continues to thrive thanks to its focus on personalized care and the immeasurable rewards that come from making a positive impact on their clients’ lives.
We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. Caregivers at Home Instead play a vital role in improving the well-being of clients by offering personalized care, companionship, and emotional support. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference every day by helping clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Candidates who enjoy working closely with diverse populations, including those with special needs or memory care requirements, will find this role both fulfilling and rewarding. In addition to direct care tasks, Caregivers collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans while maintaining a safe and clean environment that complies with health and safety standards.
This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and the physical ability to assist clients with mobility and other physical activities safely. Prior experience in patient care is preferred but not necessary, as we offer paid training to help new team members develop the skills required to succeed. Benefits include competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, weekend pay differentials, and reimbursement for mileage incurred during work duties. We also provide flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the varied needs of our Caregivers, ensuring a positive work-life balance. Employees are eligible for benefits such as Roth IRA matching, voluntary life insurance, and the consistency of working with regular clients to build meaningful relationships. Join our growing team of dedicated professionals and make a difference in the lives of those we serve by delivering exceptional in-home care and support.
