Arden Courts is a revered leader in senior care, specializing in providing compassionate and comprehensive services for elderly individuals, particularly those living with memory impairments such as dementia. As a part of a nationally acclaimed network of assisted living communities, Arden Courts creates an environment where residents receive personalized support tailored to their unique needs. This commitment to excellence is reflected in their dedicated Health & Wellness Team, which emphasizes nurturing care, safety, and dignity for every resident. Arden Courts uniquely blends innovative care practices with a warm community atmosphere, making it a preferred employer for professionals passionate about elder care and specialized memory support.
The role of Caregiver at Arden Courts is a pivotal position, central to the daily well-being and quality of life of residents. As a Caregiver, you will assist residents in all facets of their daily lives, ranging from personal care and food service to housekeeping and laundry. This role is not limited to physical assistance; it also involves behavior management, facilitating socialization, orchestrating activities, and providing orientation and information services to residents. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every resident's needs are addressed with compassion and professionalism.
This position offers a generous $5,000 sign-on bonus as a testament to Arden Courts' commitment to attracting and retaining dedicated caregivers. The employment type is full-time, and the role promises industry-leading resident care responsibilities that are both rewarding and challenging. Arden Courts prides itself on an employee-centric workplace culture that values its caregivers and offers an array of benefits to support work-life balance and professional development.
Caregivers at Arden Courts enjoy amazing benefits such as no mandates to stay over for shift coverage, which respects personal time and promotes a healthy work-life balance. Daily access to pay through ZayZoon helps caregivers manage their finances effectively. Uniforms are provided, alongside employee discounts and events that celebrate staff contributions and foster team cohesion. Arden Courts also supports employee wellness through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Financial security is promoted through a 401k plan and company-paid life insurance. Additional perks include birthday holidays, paid time off, holiday worked premium pay, and more.
This role requires candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading and writing skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Experience working with elderly populations and prior dementia care experience are highly preferred. Certification according to state regulations is mandatory, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care and compliance. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods, along with the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Full use of hands, arms, and legs is necessary for caregiving tasks such as washing, bathing, and dressing residents, as well as performing cleaning duties and operating kitchen appliances and laundry equipment.
Arden Courts is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex/gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran status, citizenship, familial or marital status, genetics, or any other protected category. In compliance with the ADAAA, Arden Courts provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities. The company maintains a drug-free workplace, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all employees.
