Job Description
Comfort Keepers is a leading home care service provider specializing in personalized, one-on-one care that supports individuals in maintaining their independence and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes. Serving Butler County, Beaver County, and the North Hills Area of Pennsylvania — including Allison Park, McCandless, McKnight, and Shaler — as well as the west end of Pittsburgh, Comfort Keepers is dedicated to delivering compassionate and professional care tailored to the unique needs of each client. As a highly regarded company in the home health sector, Comfort Keepers prides itself on fostering a supportive environment for both its clients and caregivers, emphasizing the importance of relationship-building and empathy in care delivery.
This opportunity is perfect for caregivers and home health aides who desire flexible working hours, a rewarding work environment, and the chance to make meaningful differences in people’s lives every day. The roles offered are full-time and part-time positions, with competitive pay ranging from $17 to $24 per hour, reflective of experience and dedication. Comfort Keepers offers paid training, eliminating the need for prior experience, and fosters career growth with ongoing recognition, bonuses, and potential raises. Caregivers have access to same-day pay options via TapCheck or bi-weekly direct deposits, promoting financial stability and convenience. Additional benefits include free health insurance coverage for employees and their families, a 401k retirement plan, travel reimbursement for work-related vehicle use, and a vibrant company culture featuring events and an atmosphere akin to a close-knit family.
The role centers on delivering 1:1 care, which differs greatly from the often hectic pace found in larger institutional settings. Caregivers work closely with clients to assist with daily living activities, companionship, and sometimes specialized care needs, always ensuring that each client’s dignity and preferences are respected. This position emphasizes the importance of flexibility, compassion, reliability, and teamwork. Ideal candidates are those who are dependable, patient, and creative, with a genuine passion for helping others. The job is well-suited for retired teachers, homemakers, family caregivers, or anyone seeking to leave behind the hectic environments of skilled nursing or assisted living facilities for a more personal caregiving experience that truly values individual contributions. Comfort Keepers not only offers a job but a calling, where caregiving is seen as a vital and respected profession. Those who join the team can expect a supportive work environment, meaningful interactions, and the opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive impact on their community.
