Job Requirements
- Ability to commute throughout Northwest Indiana
- valid driver’s license
- reliable vehicle with insurance
- ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
- a compassionate heart and desire to help others
- flexibility to work part-time, full-time, or PRN
- willingness to undergo paid orientation and ongoing training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in caregiving or related healthcare roles beneficial
- training provided for new caregivers
- valid driver’s license
- reliable vehicle with insurance
- ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- certification in first aid and CPR is an advantage
Job Duties
- Provide companionship and conversation
- perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- offer medication reminders
- support mobility assistance and transfers
- provide transportation to appointments and outings
- carry out other activities of daily living or instrumental activities of daily living based on client needs
