Job Description

Comfort Keepers is a reputable and well-known home health agency operating in the Metro Area, particularly serving Hopkins and surrounding neighborhoods such as Edina, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, and St. Louis Park. The company is recognized as a top brand in homecare services, offering exceptional support and consistent, quality care to individuals who require assistance at home. Comfort Keepers prides itself on fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes self-care, flexibility, and respect for its CNA caregivers. This flexibility allows caregivers to balance professional responsibilities with their personal lives effectively, contributing to a supportive and rewarding workplace culture.

The role of a CNA Caregiver at Comfort Keepers is vital in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life by providing compassionate and personalized care. As a CNA caregiver, you will be directly involved in daily activities that significantly impact the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients. The position requires dedicated individuals who are not only trained in caregiving skills but are empathetic listeners and friendly companions. You will assist clients with essential activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Medication administration and monitoring vital signs under professional direction are also key responsibilities, ensuring clients' health and safety are maintained.

Working as a CNA Caregiver with Comfort Keepers offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and other individuals who need in-home care. The role will often involve using assistive devices like Hoyer Lifts and EasyStand equipment to help clients with mobility challenges safely. Besides physical care, providing companionship and emotional support is equally important, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation among clients. You will also be engaged in practical tasks like meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, driving clients to appointments or social activities, and implementing behavior management strategies as needed.

The company highly values technological proficiency, requiring caregivers to use smartphones for communicating, accessing care plans, and completing documentation efficiently. This technology-driven approach helps to streamline caregiving processes while maintaining the highest standards of care. Comfort Keepers offers competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, with additional weekend pay differentials, and emphasizes a flexible schedule to accommodate different availability. The agency is particularly seeking caregivers for afternoon and evening shifts during weekdays, as well as morning and afternoon/evening shifts on weekends.

This opportunity is ideal for compassionate individuals ready to contribute their skills and empathy in a respected home care setting. The comprehensive support from the company, including 24/7 assistance from the office team, advancement opportunities, and benefits such as PTO, 401(k), and mileage reimbursement for driving clients, highlights the company's commitment to its employees' wellbeing and professional growth. Join Comfort Keepers to be part of a caring community dedicated to enhancing lives and providing essential in-home support to those who need it most.
