Bluebird Homecare is currently seeking compassionate, accountable, respectful, and ethical caregivers and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to join their team in the St. Louis, MO area. This position offers competitive pay starting at $16.00 per hour with eligibility for quarterly raises based on hours worked. Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- At least 1 year of caregiving or related experience
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations
- Availability for flexible scheduling
- Capability to provide physical assistance to clients
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CNA certification preferred
- Previous experience in caregiving or home health care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and ethical approach to care
- Basic knowledge of medication assistance and ambulatory support
Job Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation
- Accompany clients to appointments and provide medication reminders and assistance
- Provide compassionate personal care and companionship
- Maintain communication with supervisory staff and participate in CARE! Team model
- Adhere to company policies and ethical standards
