The role of Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver is a part-time position, requiring 8 hours per week with shifts during the day from 7 am to 3 pm. The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.50, depending on experience, making this not only a rewarding opportunity but also a viable part-time income source. In this position, you will play a critical role in positively impacting the daily lives of individuals receiving care by providing training, assistance, and supervision in essential life skills. Responsibilities extend beyond typical caregiving, involving supporting individuals in residential and community settings with activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration. This hands-on work ensures recipients can maintain and improve their daily functioning and quality of life.

Additionally, as a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver, you will foster community integration by facilitating relationships between clients and employers, supporting outreach activities, accompanying clients on outings, and providing transportation to work or other community engagements. Collaboration with clinical staff is vital to ensure that therapeutic and behavioral plans are adhered to and effectively implemented.
