Currently, The Delaney at The Green is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Quality of Life Specialist to join their team. This part-time position offers a competitive wage of $20 per hour with flexible shifts across days and evenings. The specialist role is crucial in ensuring that residents receive high-quality personal care while promoting a supportive and engaging environment. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks, as well as providing vital signs checks and foot care. The role also involves helping residents during mealtimes by preparing and cutting food, encouraging residents to eat, and ensuring their safety and comfort.

In addition to direct care, the Quality of Life Specialist is expected to maintain accurate documentation of all care activities and communicate effectively with residents, their families, nursing supervisors, and departmental leaders. They also facilitate planned or directed activities that contribute to the residents’ quality of life and respond promptly to call lights and emergencies, demonstrating keen responsiveness and attentiveness. This position is ideal for individuals who have prior experience in senior care roles such as CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA and who bring enthusiasm and compassion to their work.
