The company is committed to making quality healthcare more accessible and affordable to everyone through innovative technology and personalized service. Based in Franklin, Tennessee, CareLinx operates on a dynamic platform that empowers caregivers to set their schedules and preferences while providing top-tier, non-clinical in-home care to clients. The workforce primarily consists of 1099 contractors, allowing caregivers to enjoy maximum flexibility in their work arrangements, including part-time and per-diem shifts. The work setting is client homes, providing a personalized and meaningful care environment for each individual. CareLinx is an Equal Opportunity Employer and uses E-Verify to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
The role of an In-Home Caregiver at CareLinx involves providing non-clinical support to clients in their homes, focusing on improving their quality of life and supporting daily activities. This position is ideal for compassionate, patient, and professional individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others. The caregiver's responsibilities include assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as companionship, meal preparation, mobility assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing, and providing medication reminders (non-clinical). Light housekeeping duties also form a part of the daily care routine. All care activities must be accurately documented using the CareLinx mobile app, which is essential for scheduling, documentation, and timesheet submission.
In addition to the core caregiving tasks, caregivers are expected to monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the clinical team, assist with transportation, errands, hospital discharge escorting, and help clients navigate telehealth appointments. Communication with the Care Partner team is critical to ensure that clients receive consistent and personalized care. The company provides ongoing support to caregivers by matching them to clients based on location, availability, and specific care needs, promoting steady, recurring shifts or flexible per-diem options. This role demands a commitment to maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times, creating a safe and secure environment.
This position requires a minimum of six months of previous caregiving experience or relevant education/certification such as CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent. Essential requirements include having a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app, basic English communication skills (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply), reliable transportation, successful background checks, and compliance with any program-specific training or medical clearances necessary for specific assignments. Those accepting driving shifts must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record. This role offers meaningful work with flexible scheduling, and candidates typically complete onboarding and training within a few days of applying, supported by CareLinx’s dedicated recruiting team.
