The Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver position at NeuroRestorative is a part-time role requiring 24 hours per week, specifically scheduled during day shifts from 7 am to 3 pm. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $19.50, depending on experience. This role is designed for individuals passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of others by providing essential support and training in daily living skills. As a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver, you will play a critical role in assisting patients in therapeutic recreation, living skills, and other vital areas to support their rehabilitation journey. Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration within both residential and community environments. The role further involves facilitating relationships between employers and the individuals NeuroRestorative serves, accompanying clients on community outings, or providing transportation to work and activities. Collaborating closely with clinical staff, this position supports therapeutic and behavioral plans to ensure comprehensive and consistent care.   • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence
  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other assistance in residential and community settings
  • Assist with daily activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration
  • Facilitate working relationships between employers and individuals served
  • Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities
  • Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding client progress
  • Ensure safety and adherence to care protocols in all settings
