- previous experience in providing care services preferred
Job Duties
- Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan
- assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility
- observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents
- respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting their immediate need or contacting emergency support
- support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed
- assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes
- offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents
- launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels, fold and return to residents
- complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment
- maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel
- report on-the-job injuries to supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs
- perform other duties as assigned
