Job Description

REM Community Services, a proud member of the Sevita family, is dedicated to providing compassionate, community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Founded on the belief that every person has the right to live well, REM Community Services emphasizes respect, dignity, and empowerment for the people we serve. As a part of Sevita, a nationally recognized leader in the home and community-based specialized health care sector, we have more than 50 years of experience delivering quality services that promote growth, independence, and a fulfilling life for those facing physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges. Servicing over 50,000 individuals across the U.S. with the support of 40,000 team members, Sevita and its branches like REM Community Services maintain a strong reputation for innovation, dedication, and personalized care.

At REM Community Services, we believe everyone deserves a fulfilling career just as much as every individual deserves a life well lived. We are currently hiring caregivers to join our mission-driven team. In this rewarding role, caregivers play a vital part in helping individuals grow, learn, and experience the joy of living well. Working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., caregivers earn a competitive rate of $12.00 per hour. This position is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to develop deep, meaningful relationships with the participants you support, contributing directly to their well-being and personal development.

As a caregiver at REM Community Services, you will be entrusted with supporting individuals who have developmental goals in areas such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will assist with personal hygiene and help individuals participate in community activities they enjoy, all while being supported by a leadership team that trusts and empowers you to do what is right for those you serve. This role requires patience, compassion, and adaptability as you may work with individuals who have behavioral challenges or complex needs.

Joining our team also means access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career and personal well-being. Full-time caregivers enjoy benefits like competitive pay with pay on demand, paid time off and holiday pay, a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match, and ongoing learning and development opportunities. Supervisory staff deeply care about both participants and caregivers, fostering a supportive environment where you can thrive and grow. As a stable, established company that is continuously growing, Sevita offers job security in a sector that genuinely values human service work.

If you are seeking a career that offers purpose, stability, and professional growth, then consider joining REM Community Services. Here, you will be part of a vibrant community focused on enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while building a meaningful, rewarding career of your own. Apply today to explore careers well lived at Sevita and become part of a team that is dedicated to innovation, compassion, and excellence in care.
