Job Description

NeuroRestorative, a division of Sevita, stands as a premier provider of rehabilitation services dedicated to individuals of all ages facing brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and challenges. As a vital part of the Sevita family, which has over 50 years of experience and a workforce of 40,000 team members nationwide, NeuroRestorative is renowned for offering comprehensive programs in a variety of community-based and residential settings. These programs include vocational training, therapy sessions, day treatments, and specialized care tailored for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans. This holistic approach ensures that every individual receives the personalized support they need to enhance their independence and quality of life.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver for part-time evening or overnight shifts, specifically 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am, with wages starting at $15.50 per hour. In this essential role, you will directly impact the lives of our clients by providing training, assistance, and supervision to help them develop critical living skills and engage in therapeutic recreation. Your efforts will span across both residential and community settings, supporting individuals in their daily routines, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration. Moreover, you will facilitate strong community and work relationships by accompanying clients to outings or providing transportation for work and other activities.

Working closely with clinical staff, the Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver supports therapeutic and behavioral plans to ensure each individual receives the best possible care aligned with their unique needs. This role offers not only the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to others' lives but also to grow personally and professionally within an organization committed to career advancement, paid training, and a supportive work environment. With flexible full-time, part-time, and as-needed schedules, employees enjoy a dynamic workplace where no two days are the same, fostering both job satisfaction and stability through our federal and state funding sources.
