As a part of Sevita, REM Community Services embraces a mission grounded in the belief that every person has the fundamental right to live a fulfilling and enriched life. Through their compassionate and individualized support, they empower individuals to grow, learn, and thrive within their communities. The organization not only focuses on the well-being of the people it serves but also cultivates a workplace culture where employees find meaningful and rewarding careers. With a strong emphasis on respect, dignity, and trust, REM Community Services fosters an environment where both staff and participants feel valued and inspired.

REM Community Services is currently seeking compassionate caregivers for full-time evening and overnight shifts, offering a competitive pay rate of $15 per hour. The caregiver role is integral to the organization’s mission, as these professionals provide direct support to individuals, assisting with personal hygiene, community participation, and developmental goals such as budgeting, nutrition, and exercise. Caregivers at Sevita are more than just support staff; they build authentic relationships with participants, champion their independence, and contribute to their overall quality of life. The role demands patience, adaptability, and a heartfelt commitment to helping individuals overcome challenges, including behavioral complexities and other special needs.

Working at Sevita means you become part of a mission-driven team where ownership and trust are foundational to the leadership approach. Caregivers are encouraged to take initiative and make decisions that are in the best interest of the participants. Through meaningful interactions and daily engagement, caregivers help individuals be active in their communities and experience life to its fullest. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference every day while developing a fulfilling career path in human services.

In addition to competitive pay, Sevita provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health insurance, dental coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with a company match. The organization values continuous professional development and offers extensive training and learning opportunities to support career growth. Sevita prioritizes a supportive work environment where supervisors genuinely care about both the participants’ well-being and the professional satisfaction of the team. Job security is also a key advantage, as Sevita is a well-established and growing company that has been innovating specialized health care services for over 50 years.

Joining Sevita means joining a leader in home and community-based specialized health care. With over 40,000 team members serving around 50,000 individuals across the United States, Sevita is committed to enhancing lives by delivering quality, personalized services. The organization is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace free of discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
